Prayer Letter — January 2025

Dear Pastor and Church,

We are excited to start this new year of adventures and to see what God is going to allow us to do and see. We are mostly booked all the way up till May and plan to be home in Oklahoma in May for Kiska to have the baby. We are looking to try and be on the field in late July of 2025 so if you will pray as we seek to hit that goal.

I am taking a trip to Portugal on the 8th-16th of January 2025. I will be holding a conference for the church plant as they have been without a missionary for almost 4 months now. My aim and goal for this is to encourage them to continue. The theme for this year is "Continue Thou". I will hold a meeting with the people and encourage them to stay faithful and continue in what they know from the word of God. It will be at least 7 more months until we will be able to move to help the church plant, so please be in earnest prayer for the church as that can be discouraging.

The church has already lost a few members due to this change, but we are going to still encourage those young Christians in the work to follow God and stay faithful. We are encouraged with those who have stayed in their faithfulness to come and hear from God. Jorge, the man that is teaching while we are not there, has been very faithful and a huge help to the ministry. Please continue to pray for him as God uses him. There are also several other Missionaries in Portugal that have given one Sunday a month to coming over and preaching to the church to help ease the load and encourage them.

The Lord has blessed our deputation efforts as we have been traveling. We have driven 60k miles last year and God has kept us safe with no problems, Praise the Lord! He has also increased our support and we are amazed on how good God has been to us as we are at 70%. We are thrilled that God would use us in the way He has. We are excited to see God continue to supply the support needed to get to the field.

God Bless!
